What is Tales of Seikyu?
Tales of Seikyu is a cozy farming life sim on PC (Steam) where you restore an ancestral home on the yokai island of Seikyu, grow crops, raise livestock, explore Fox Ruins, and shapeshift into spirit forms. ACE Entertainment shipped the 1.0 release on June 11, 2026 after Early Access.
The full story is complete in 1.0, with festivals, marriage, ranching, cooking, dungeon combat, and up to twenty romanceable villagers. This Tales of Seikyu guide hub collects walkthroughs, gift tables, and a compact wiki database so you spend less time searching and more time playing.
- Yokai shapeshifting — Boar, Slime, Crow Tengu, and more forms for farming and exploration
- Romance & marriage — heart events through level 10, then move in together
- Farming & ranching — seasonal crops, cows, chickens, sheep, and capybara
- Combat & ruins — Fox Ruins bosses, tanuki fights, and dungeon loot
- Inn restoration — rebuild the family inn as the main story progresses
- Seasonal festivals — Carp Festival egg hunt and rhythm carp race

Beginner Tips — Top 5 for Your First Week
Start with these five habits, then read the full tips checklist or first-week walkthrough.
- Expand inventory early at Musashi's shop
Backpack expansions cost 200 gold each and add a full row (four slots). There are up to nineteen upgrades — cheap insurance before festival loot and mining runs.
- Till with Boar Form, not a hoe
Attack soil in Boar Form to till. Each tile holds up to four seeds and must be watered daily unless it rains.
- Start "Farming the Wild Way" with Musashi
Musashi may appear as a cat on your farm — talk to him to unlock the watering can and free starter seeds.
- Check garbage cans and shipping bin daily
Town bins can yield free items twice per day. The shipping bin converts crops and forage into gold overnight.
- Prioritize Fox Ruins after basic farm income
Slime and Tengu forms gate most exploration. Save energy for boss days and bring cooked food for stamina.

Regrowing crops beat single-harvest plants once your farm expands.
